Bell Canada is a telecom service provider in US and North America for all their provinces. The company has divided itself into different provinces and is operating as a separate profit heads. The complete Ontario region in Canada was considered for this project.

Scope of Project

The project is described to be one of the most prestigious and largest conversion project for BELL Canada ever taken in the world. The main project was used by the client for fault finding in the network, asset management, and Depreciation calculations and to facilitate future planning.

The project deals with conversion of 2,50,000 outside plant items, 1.8 Million plant items and 230 million meters of Cables and Conduits with a quality level of 99.7% with the time frame of half the industry norm and 30% more database attributes.

The responsibilities includes to Plan and schedule from the inventory till the shipment of the project which includes Forecast and analyze the requirement of resources, technical write-ups and execution of conversion projects in GIS/AM/FM and documentation with managing the staff of the project. Weekly and consolidated monthly MIS (Management information reports) to be generated for submission to the management with remarks if any.
