Project Details
This is a mining project which includes the following treatments/processes. Every process required the client to analyze the complete scenario and consider various parameters before making a decision.
Affaissement (Depression) Treatment - This process is to find out the depression of coalmines comparing to the actual surface (ground) level, for a particular part of the entire coalmine region (Concession). Analysis would be done using the data – an elevational contour map of the entire coalmine region, coalmine (polygonal) map of a particular part of the entire coalmine region that will be sent by the client. Analysis includes, creation of Terrain Models using the contour map and coalmine map and finding out the difference of both using spatial calculation to arrive with a depression.
Influence Treatment - This process is to find out the influence of the coalmines on the land and environment. After consideration of various parameters (formulas supplied by the client are considered) buffer zone will be generated around the mines with the existing data so that the further development could be curtailed.
ISO-Epaisseur Treatment - This process is to represent the density of coalmines’ depths in the form of the point data. An altitude map containing the elevations supplied by the client would be categorized with the range specified by the client. By this representation the mining official can easily make out which are all the mines that are highly affected in the terms of depth so that he can concentrate on the other parts.
Geol Treatment - During this process, longitudinal section (LS) would be prepared for coalmines of a particular part of the entire region. A sectional line intersecting the mines (polygons) would be supplied by the client and the LS would be produced using this sectional line showing the actual profile of the mine surface. Before generating the LS, a terrain is created to get the actual ground profile.
